Blog Post #17: IPOL preperation
| It took my awhile to start on making my slides because I just didn't want to start but then one I did start, I was fine. It didn't take me too long because I didn't add my speech on my slides. |
I just added a shorter version of the questions along with a couple pictures. and as I was making it, I was practicing and once I finished my slides I practiced a whole bunch. I plan on using google slides and memorizing my speech and for an artifact, i will be using one of our daily to do list. talk, When it comes to the questions that might be asked, Honestly I am a little worried about that but I know I will be fine. I am just going to try to relax and answer the questions the best I can and to avoid questions, I will try to cover as much as I can in my presentation. During my time here as an intern, I've learned a lot and this place has really opened my eyes on many things. One of them being that an action that we do that is :small", can make a huge impact to those animals around us. For an example Sapphire our loggerhead sea turtle. She has many disabilities that prohibit her from doing many things and have made her unreleasable. This place has made an impact on my life and I know me being there has helped a lot too. There are a lot of things that need to get done before we get off and since I am there everyday, I am really helping out my mentors because they have a lot of things to do and I am helping take off the other work to make their life a little easier. I talk about my appreciations and my contributions to my internship more in my presentation.
