Playwriting Project-
My Humanities teacher put the class in groups of two but since the class in uneven, I was in a group of three. After we read the Greek Tragedy Antigone, we were assigned to find a popular social issue we were interested into and making it into our own Greek Tragedy. We had to create a outline first of what would happen in every scene and later on, a script. We had to make the play with the following requirements:
Below, is the outline my first group and I created:

After everyone made this outline, we proposed this outlined to the class and then voted on which 6/12 groups were going to move on to the next step of creating scripts. Luckily, my group moved on to the next 6. we now were a group of 5. When you meet up with your new members, you decide on what you want to change about the play and assign jobs.
Below is the new outline we made:

We changed our play idea into a new thing basically. Our new group members didn't like our original idea.
Next after we made a new proposal, we made a script for that play. That below:

This time we came up with a title...
After we made the script, we had to make a tri-fold of our play that had everything you needed to know about our play. From there, That's when we eliminate three more groups. Our play did move onto the final three. This time no one got new groups or anything. Once we had all three plays chosen, we read all the scripts and then voted again. This time down to one. Whoever got the most votes would be the play that everyone would work on it and the one we will show to the judges. Sadly we lost and I don't remember but I believe we came in second place. From there, we moved on to another project which you can hear more about it by going to 9TH GRADE (2014-2015) > humanities > projects > The great Dionysus.
