Blog post #1: Mentor Interview/Site Visit
My site visit was really cool because my mentor, she took Pearl and I behind the scenes so we were able to see where we both would be working and I learned a little about all the rooms. I also got to meet some new people and animals. She told us some basic things we each would be doing and honestly, I am a little overwhelmed with all I have to do everyday but she told me we would have someone there helping so that made me feel a little better. After the tour, we all sat down and talked about what projects we could do. Lindsay told us that normally her interns create a presentation on anything they want and present it to the guest.
During our site visit, we asked some questions and these are their responses to them:

3) How is the organization structered?

6) What qualifications do employees need to be successful here and how are those qualifactions ac acquired?
